Windsor Unified School District Offers two different pathways for elementary-aged students.
One pathway starts at Mattie Washburn elementary, which offers classes for pre-schoolers through secons grade. Mattie is described by it’s families and staff as a friendly, warm campus with a family focus and atmosphere. From Mattie, students then move on to our 3rd through 5th grade school, Brooks Elementary, which boasts a stunning library building, dedicated staff, and innovative programs focusing on the social-emotional health of all students. learn more about Brooks here.
The other pathway is through WUSD’s bilingual charter school, Cali Calmecac Language Academy. This preschool through 8th grade school boasts a bilingula, bicultural and biliterate educational model, with many students going on to recieve the California Seal of Biliteracy. As a charter, Cali does not guarantee admission, and there is an admission process with several requirements. Learn more about Cali here.
