Welcome to WUSD Food & Nutrition!

Windsor Unified School District’s Food & Nutrition Department is committed to providing nutritious meals to students to fuel the mind and body.  Well-nourished students have higher test scores, increased school attendance, improved concentration, and improved classroom behavior. Windsor Unified School District proudly serves a nutritious breakfast and lunch every school day.  As a participant of the National School Lunch and National School Breakfast Program, our school meals offer a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk and protein.

2024/2025 School Year Information

The Windsor Unified School District will offer free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students. Furthermore, the District will operate under The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP is a non-pricing meal service option for eligible schools and school districts. This not only allows all students to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost, but also eliminates the need to collect meal applications.

A free breakfast and lunch is available for all students attending Saturday School. Please pre-order with your teacher or the cafeteria staff.
